studio Kim. participated as an engineering partner in the development of the wall-type lamp from the SCENE Collection, designed through a collaboration between @royalandco.official and @studio__word

Working closely with the designers to bridge design intent and production feasibility, the project involved structural development, engineering review, production planning, and production management to ensure the original form and concept could be realized as a finished product.

The designer’s intent and the on-site installation process were reviewed in parallel, leading to a structure that enables easier installation. The key engineering challenge was to integrate a tilting function while maintaining the compact form of the lamp.
