뉴클래식은 본질적인 아름다움을 기반으로, 오늘의 생활, 문화, 감각과 호흡하는 동시대적 조형을 뜻합니다.
‘본질적인 아름다움’이란 소재와 조형이 자연스럽게 내재한 감각을 사용자가 직접 느끼고 감응할 수 있도록 이끌어내는 힘이며, 이를 위해서는 복잡함을 정제하는 감각과, 그 조형을 실제로 구현하기 위한 구조적 설계 능력이 동반되어야 합니다.
각 소재는 고유의 아름다운 상태나 순간을 지니고 있으며, 우리는 이를 적절한 관점과 형태로 치환해, 감각 가능한 오브젝트로 구현하고자 합니다. 디자인은 단편적인 대상이 아닌, 그것이 놓이는 맥락 전체를 고려해야 하며, 정제되지 않은 환경에서도 완결된 인상을 유지할 수 있도록 복잡성을 제어하고 본질을 드러내는 방식으로 접근합니다.
