BEK JAH Lamp Project

Ikebana Haus는 조화 구성품 세트와 화병, 꽃꽂이 세트를 판매하는 브랜드로, 리빙 관련 스터디와 개발·판매를 목적으로 스튜디오와 협업을 진행하였다. 브랜드 디렉터가 제안한 달항아리를 모티브로 한 요청과 무드가 명확히 주어졌으며, 이에 따라 초기 스케치를 바탕으로 폼 스터디와 완성품을 제안하였다.

달항아리가 가진 곡선을 현대적 인테리어와 조화를 이루도록 정제하는 과정에서 다양한 시도가 진행되었다. 부분마다 서로 다른 곡선 개념을 적용해 라인을 정제하였으며, 1:1 스케일의 도면을 통해 실제 제작 단계에서의 품질을 관리하였다.

온지음과 협업하여 ‘라-라이크(La-like)’ 원단을 사용함으로써 한국적인 미감을 강조하였고, 알루미늄 아노다이징 마감을 통해 다양한 공간에서 활용 가능한 Ikebana Haus BEK JAH Lamp를 완성하였다.



Ikebana Haus, a brand known for selling artificial floral sets and vases, collaborated with the studio to explore, develop, and produce new living-oriented pieces. The project was guided by a clear directive from the brand’s director, who proposed the mood and the distinct motif of the moon jar. Initial sketches led to form studies and final design proposals.

The design process focused on refining the moon jar’s curves to harmonize with contemporary interiors while avoiding a conventional or dated impression. Different curvature concepts were applied to specific sections to achieve a cohesive line, and full-scale 1:1 drawings were employed for quality control during production.

In collaboration with Onji-eum, the lamp incorporated La-like fabric to emphasize a distinctly Korean aesthetic, while aluminium with an anodized finish ensured that the Ikebana Haus BEK JAH Lamp would suit a variety of environments.
